§ 10-32. Administration and enforcement.

  • (a)

    The director or designee shall mail written notice of the approval or denial of an application for registration as a collector or a generator to the applicant within sixty (60) days after the submission of the completed application. Registration is effective only upon approval and issuance of the notice of approval.

    (b)

    A registered collector shall update the information required by subsection (a) at least once each year at the time of registration renewal.

    (c)

    Once approved, the registration shall be effective until the following December 31, and, unless properly renewed, shall lapse thereon. Registration fees shall be set from time to time by the board after a public hearing and confirmed by the city council. Each vehicle used shall constitute one (1) registration. Registration fees shall not be prorated. For specific fees see section 10-21, License/fee—Required; classifications.
