§ 10-27. Inspections of vehicle and equipment.

(a)

Sanitary inspections before licensing. No vehicle shall be approved for the license described in section 10-21 of this article, or a renewal thereof, by the director of public works until it has been inspected for sanitary requirements by the director of public works or their agent.

(b)

Additional inspection. In addition to the initial inspections before licensing, all vehicles and equipment used for the collection and transportation of refuse within the city shall be subject to spot inspection at any time by the director of public works or their agent or the director of health or their agent.
